Operations Coordinator

Shameka has a decade of experience in accreditation, beginning with her work at an educational accreditor in DC. As an Assistant Manager, she managed the complaint process for over 900 institutions, along with organizing and training subject matter experts and conducting accreditation visits. After moving from Maryland back to her hometown of Philadelphia, she then worked as Operations Coordinator for a primary school accreditor, managing the central office serving thirteen states in the Northeast region of the United States. Shameka’s desire to grow in her knowledge of accreditation and compliance while also serving a community is the catalyst for her career aspirations. Shameka is also a talented writer and will use her unique skill set to assist the team at HFA and the communities they serve.
