HFA Advisory Committees

HFA has four advisory committees for network members, and one for parents!

This page is dedicated to our committees, which are comprised of HFA network members—state leaders, program managers, and supervisors from local HFA sites! Having so many dedicated network members volunteer their time in this way is incredible and contributes to the health and wellness of our HFA network as a whole.

National Advisory Committee (NAC)

NAC goals:

– Advise HFA national staff with regard to implementation and evaluation of the HFA model
– Co-design of improvement strategies regarding issues impacting the HFA network
– Serve as national representatives in strategic areas
– Contribute to the growth of leaders within the HFA Network

Accreditation Panel

The Accreditation Panel:

Reviews, provides feedback, and makes accreditation decisions for sites and multi-site systems; addresses suggestions, comments, issues and concerns on existing national office policies, procedures and practices related to the HFA Best Practice Standards and/or accreditation process; and advises HFA national staff with regards to revisions and updates to the HFA Best Practice Standards, and the HFA Central Administration Standards.

Training Advisory Committee (TAC)

TAC represents the HFA network and is a voice from the field to the national office as it relates to training. The committee reflects the diverse representation and experiences within the HFA network, including geographic diversity, content focus, and HFA professional roles, in order to ensure that a broad range of experiences inform and shape the national training arena.

Racial Equity and Cultural Humility Committee (REaCH)

REaCH serves in an advisory capacity with the HFA National Office to strengthen and further develop the national HFA network in the area of equity, diversity and inclusion in order to better serve all children and families through the HFA model.
