HFA Parents Meet with National Office Staff in Chicago

In 2023, parents from the Chicagoland area met together virtually in focus groups, discussing the myriad ways HFA can improve as a program. There were two groups, one Spanish-speaking and one English-speaking. They met together over several months. For the first time, they were able to come together in person in March 2024, along with the HFA National Office team.

Together, we discussed parent engagement strategies and how parents can rise in leadership within their own HFA programs.
