Nominations for the 2024 Roberta Katz Sacks HFA Parent Graduate of the Year

We are seeking nominations and submissions for the 2024 Roberta Katz Sacks HFA Parent Graduate of the Year! After reading/watching all the submissions, we will select two parent graduates who inspire us the most. These two selected graduates will receive a $400 gift card, and the sites they graduated from will each receive a $100 gift card!

Graduate from an HFA-Affiliated Site

Nearly 70,000 families participate in Healthy Families America (HFA) programs each year. We’re seeking inspiring parents who have graduated from one of our affiliated sites.

Graduate during the 2024 calendar year

This award is designed to honor parents who have achieved a significant milestone by completing their HFA program in 2024. Whether you graduated early in the year or more recently, your dedication and commitment throughout your HFA journey are worth celebrating.

Your journey as an HFA parent graduate is a source of inspiration. Your knowledge and experiences hold the power to uplift and guide others—and we can’t wait to hear and celebrate your story!

PCA America and HFA are honored to name this award in memory of Roberta (Bobby) Katz Sacks

Bobby was a lifelong advocate for children. Bobby served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate in Akron, Ohio, where she diligently oversaw a caseload of children in foster care. As a member of the National Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America), Bobby led efforts to connect PCA America to her collegiate sorority, Sigma Delta Tau (SDT). Since making this connection, SDT women have raised more than $5M to help children and families thrive.  

We look forward to showcasing Bobby’s legacy through the incredible achievements of HFA families.
