Cristina Massey

Cristina Massey’s career in Early Childhood started with a 12-year role in Early Intervention before transitioning to HFA in 2012. She started as a Family Support Specialist/Family Resource Specialist before her program received a MIECHV expansion which led to her becoming a supervisor and then Program Manager at her site in Rhode Island. Through her various roles, she saw the importance of the parallel process and grew her passion for reflective practice and relationship-based work. Cris is committed to supporting staff and programs who provide trauma-informed care for families. She is also PAT certified and oversaw the PAT and WIC programs at her agency before joining the national office in 2022. She is a peer reviewer and briefly served on the HFA Accreditation Panel. She is also bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish.
Cristina was born and raised in Rhode Island where she attended Providence College to study Psychology and currently lives with her husband and two children.
