LaTasha has devoted over 12 years of her professional career to the hospitality industry and nonprofit youth organizations. Before joining PCAA, she served as the Events Manager at the DeKalb County Lou Walker Senior Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She also held the position of Manager of Events—Alumni Relations at the Catholic Theological Union in the Hyde Park area of Chicago, Illinois.
LaTasha earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Event Management from Indiana University and a MPA from Valdosta State University, concentrating on nonprofit management and grant writing, which enhances her strategic planning and government policy skills in her current role. Her diverse background has equipped her with a unique skill set that has directly contributed to successful initiatives in organizing impactful educational events for youth, highlighting her passion for making a positive difference in the community.
In her free time, LaTasha enjoys reading historical fiction novels, attending, or performing in musical theater productions, and participating in community service projects with her sisters from Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
